Kennol GP Paul Ricard
Where timeless vision brings back the classic cars culture.
The list of guests and participants at the GPFH will, once again this year, expand and take on a new dimension with the presence of numerous French and international drivers. Alongside F. Montagny, V. Jabouille, R. Arnoux, and N. Prost already mentioned, Formula 1 World Champions Alain Prost (on track with the McLaren MP4/3 he drove in 1987) and Jacques Villeneuve (at the wheel of the legendary 1980 Ferrari 312 T5, driven at the time by his father, Gilles) will also be present.
French drivers Jean Alesi, Philippe Alliot, Yannick Dalmas, and Adrien Tambay (Patrick's son) will be competing. Other top F1 drivers will also be taking to the track this weekend, including David Coulthard, Mark Webber, Thierry Boutsen, Stefan Johansson, Jan Magnussen, and Daniil Kvyat.
Charles Leclerc, the Monegasque driver for Ferrari, and Frédéric Vasseur (General Manager and Team Principal of Scuderia Ferrari) will be at Paul Ricard on Saturday! This Grand Prix du Patrouille de France (GPFH) offers a fantastic opportunity to put modern Formula 1 into perspective, with the history of single-seater racing being extensively revisited.
Other personalities from the world of F1 and motorsport are expected: Zak Brown (Executive Director of McLaren Racing), Gerard Lopez (Former boss of Lotus F1), Julien Febreau (Mr. F1 of Canal+), Philippe Sinault (Team Manager of the Alpine WEC Team) or Stephane De Groodt (Former Driver and Actor)
F3 Classic InterSeries
This other international series thrives on the history of Formula 3, particularly its pre-1985 iterations. Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Nigel Mansell, and Nelson Piquet, to name just a few, brought the category to life at the time. That gives you an idea of its importance! Thirty drivers will be delighted to relive this era behind the wheel of Martini, Ralt, Chevron, March, Dallara, Alba, and Argo cars. Philippe Sinault (Alpine's WEC team manager) will be competing in both races in a Ralt RT3. In addition, two female drivers are announced: the Italians Caroline Abbou Rossi di Montelera and Angela Grasso.
F1 90’s Formula GP
This grid, reserved for Formula 1 cars and other top-tier single-seaters, features an original format. Here, there are no races, but rather individual "Hot Laps" against the clock.
Among the F1 cars in action, you'll find two 2013 Toro Rossos, a 2011 Williams, as well as cars from Prost, Jaguar, Arrows, and Rial.
Kennol Grand Prix is an unmissable and unique event for true car and classic history enthusiasts. This event allows you to relive legends up close and thrill your ears with the sound of vintage engines.
